Emboldened by the great victory over Corinthians last Friday (5), the Flamengo squad returned to training this Monday afternoon (8) at Ninho do Urubu and began preparations for another challenge in the Brazilian Championship. The next match in the competition will be the derby against Fluminense.

The training day began with the defensive players working on movement and space with assistants Leonardo Porto and Maurício Souza. On the other half of the field, Dorival Júnior and Lucas Silvestre were directing the offensive players.

In the following activity, the two groups came together and carried out an attack versus defense drill in a reduced space. Lucas Paquetá, Cuéllar, Jean Lucas, Willian Arão, and Pará were some of the standouts in the drills.

Goalkeeper Diego Alves and midfielder Diego performed specific exercises at the Center of Excellence in Performance (CEP FLA). The pair are continuing their recovery process.
