Flamengo continues its preparation for another challenge in the 2018 Brazilian Championship. The next opponent of the Rubro-Negro is Corinthians and the teams will face each other next Friday (5), at 21 pm, in São Paulo. It will be the second game for Mais Querido under the command of Dorival Júnior.

Activities on Wednesday (3) began with pre-training exercises at the Center of Excellence in Performance (CEP FLA). Following that, the athletes carried out strength and agility work on the pitch of Field 5.

Dorival Júnior used the morning training session at Ninho do Urubu to focus on offensive movement and the players' transition when building attacks from the back. The coach was assisted by his assistants Lucas Silvestre, Leonardo Porto, and Maurício Souza.

The Flamengo squad further honed their accuracy with crosses and finishing drills. Forwards Fernando Uribe and Henrique Dourado, and midfielder Willian Arão stood out in the session that took place on part of Field 5.
In the final part of the training, the defenders practiced positioning and timing with the coaching staff. The objective of the exercise was to clear as many high balls as possible in a short amount of time.
