Thursday was a day of re-presentation and hard work at Ninho do Urubu. All the day's activities at the George Helal Training Center were focused on the match against Cruzeiro in the Brazilian Championship. The teams will face each other again next Sunday at 16 pm in the Brazilian Championship.
The players who started the last Conmebol Libertadores match performed regenerative activities at the Center of Excellence in Performance (CEP FLA). The work in the gym was led by physical trainer Roberto Oliveira.
The rest of the squad worked on Field 5 at Ninho do Urubu. After warming up under the command of physical trainer Diogo Linhares, the players carried out an attack versus defense drill. Following that, Barbieri took the opportunity to lead a scrimmage, and the activity included young players from the Ninho do Urubu under-20 team.
Lucas Paquetá was also present during the training session on the pitch. After serving his suspension in the Conmebol Libertadores, the number 11 is cleared to play in the Brasileirão if Mauricio Barbieri wishes.
