Andrade asks the team not to dwell on its good record against its rival

In the last three years, Flamengo and Botafogo have faced each other 20 times. Flamengo has won six, drawn 11, and won three. In the last three Carioca finals, the team from Gávea has prevailed over its rival. But Andrade downplays the positive record and urges his players to do the same.
"These three victories are already a thing of the past, especially since each decision is a different story. We can't dwell on that. Today, Botafogo has the advantage, as they only need one game to win the title. They're already in the final, and we still need to force two more games," he stated.
For goalkeeper and captain Bruno, Flamengo isn't the favorite. After all, Botafogo, with a win, will already secure the Campeonato Carioca title.
"Botafogo reached the final first and the biggest responsibility will be theirs. We're running on the outside. I can only say that we're going for the title," he said.
