It wasn't an easy night for Flamengo's players. The red-and-blacks weren't happy about their loss to Palmeiras at Engenhão Stadium. They know the result could end up complicating the team's situation in the championship, leaving them even further from the top spots and closer to the relegation zone.

"The result was very bad for Flamengo. The team didn't play well and made things even more difficult," lamented striker Diogo, who echoed Leo Moura's words.

"We deserved the defeat due to our passing errors. We made life easy for Palmeiras. The team played well. We have to keep our heads in the right place because we have to improve and try to win away from home," analyzed the captain.

The players even highlighted the team's determination, but lamented that the team was left very exposed after scoring the first goal, which ended up generating the counterattacks that culminated in Palmeiras' third.

"We fought in every way we could, we went for the equalizer and ended up being exposed to Palmeiras' counterattacks. Unfortunately, we conceded the third goal and lost," said Correa, whose speech was endorsed by Petkovic.

"When we play at home, we can't lose. I don't think it was all bad, but we need to improve," he added.
