The youth futsal teams of Flamengo hosted the Grajaú teams and secured their places in the final phase of the 2008 State Futsal Championship with one round to spare.

The under-09 team won 4-2, the under-11 team won 6-1, and the under-13 team drew 4-4. The last round of the first phase is the classic match against the Vasco da Gama teams.

The under-15 and under-17 categories played at home against América's teams. In the under-15 category, Flamengo won 4-3. The under-17 team drew 2-2. With these results, both teams secured qualification for the second phase of the championship and will face Fluminense in the final round.

The youth team had a bye this round and returns to the court to face Vasco da Gama.

The Flamengo women's team lost to River Plate 4-1. With this result, the red-and-black team is now further away from qualifying for the final stage of the competition.

The senior team hosted the Severino Sombra team at Gávea for the second game of the State Championship quarterfinals. Despite a depleted squad, the Flamengo team secured a spot in the semifinals with an 8-5 victory. Rafael Silva and Arthur Linhares were standouts, each scoring three goals in the match.

Flamengo will face the Teresópolis team in the competition's semifinal. The first game will be this Friday, with the location yet to be determined. Flamengo has home court advantage, but the game cannot be held at Gávea due to the court's dimensions.
