Positive balance after the decisive marathon

Flamengo beat Vasco and Caracas, drew with Botafogo and only lost to Universidad do Chile

Over the past two weeks, there's been much talk about Flamengo's upcoming marathon. Two matches in the Campeonato Carioca and two in the Copa Santander Libertadores: against Caracas, Vasco, Universidad de Chile, and Botafogo. Coach Andrade considered the results of these four matches positive: two wins, one draw, and one loss.

According to the red-black coach, the three points won in Venezuela, against Caracas, for the Libertadores, and the four in the Taça Rio (adding the victory over Vasco and the draw with Botafogo) were good enough.

\

"There were four games in 14 days, a grueling sequence, but we achieved good results. We have a strong, quality group, and we are confident that we will continue to do well in both the Libertadores and the State Championship," said coach Andrade.

\

Defender Fabrício also believes that the team deserves congratulations for the recent results achieved.

\

"We ended up making some mistakes, which is normal, but the team did well and it was worth the team's fight in the end," he said.

Flamengo, who leads Group A in the second round of the Campeonato Carioca with 13 points, still has three matches left in the competition. The first of these is on Wednesday at 19:30 pm against Tigres at the Engenhão stadium.
