Argentine Sambueza showed potential when he came on during matches against Fluminense and Figueirense. Gávea's new number 10 says he's in good physical shape and ready to play the full 90 minutes. He leaves the team's lineup in the hands of coach Caio Júnior and says adapting to the red-and-black team has been easier than expected.

"I was well received by the group and everyone at the Club, and that helped me adapt. On the field, I try to do my job as well as possible to please everyone and help the team. Now, I'm physically fit and ready to play 90 minutes. Whatever Caio needs from me, I can help."

Sambueza knows the importance of the Brazilian Championship clash against São Paulo on Sunday at Morumbi Stadium. The Argentine wants the group to focus on one game at a time.

"First, we have to focus on São Paulo and winning this match. The trick is to take it one game at a time. Playing there isn't easy. By winning, we'll stay close to the Libertadores group, and then we can think about closing in on Grêmio and fighting for the title."
