Without Adriano, Pet and Léo Moura, Fla arrives in Porto Feliz

The red-black delegation begins the pre-season in the interior of São Paulo starting this Thursday

While Fluminense and Vasco's arrivals in Espírito Santo were met with a massive crowd, Flamengo, Brazil's most popular team, didn't receive the same reception upon arriving in São Paulo on Wednesday night. After a delayed flight from Rio to the state capital, the team traveled 110km by bus to Porto Feliz, in the interior of the state, arriving at 23:50pm at the Traffic training center. All without a single demonstration from fans.

The delegation will be staying there until the 15th. For now, the squad is shorthanded. Besides not having any officially confirmed reinforcements—Fernando will undergo tests this Thursday and will only be announced later—Flamengo is also without three of its key players: Petkovic, Léo Moura, and Adriano.

The Serbian was cleared to celebrate Orthodox Christmas in Serbia and will report this Saturday. Léo Moura will undergo surgery this Thursday to remove a nodule from his nose. Adriano is expected for afternoon training that same day.

The full Flamengo delegation in Porto Feliz will be announced soon.
