Willians praises all players' dedication against Guarani and asks for the same commitment against Cruzeiro

The pressure for good results is nothing new for Flamengo players. Whether fighting for the top spots or avoiding the bottom of the table, the Gávea team always has its fans as a great ally, but also a key monitor of its performance. This Brazilian Championship is no different.
And the players enjoy this responsibility. Midfielder Willians, who arrived at the club without much fanfare in 2009 after playing for Santo André the previous season, earned the fans' trust through his grit and determination. These are qualities he considers crucial to succeeding at Flamengo.
"Anyone who plays for Flamengo has to have grit and determination. Without that spirit, it's not Flamengo. We left Engenhão certain that we gave our all and we have to maintain that in every game," he said.
Grateful for the support of the Red-Black Nation, which he has always had by his side, Willians says that they could also be fundamental this weekend, against Cruzeiro, in Volta Redonda.
"The fans' support was important and helped a lot with the result against Guarani. Thank God they showed up and supported us, and we hope to see that again in the game against Cruzeiro," he concluded.
