Heat is a key characteristic of the venue where Flamengo faces Friburguense next Sunday (April 04.04) in the final round of the Taça Rio. Despite this, the red-and-black team promises to give it its all against the mountain team.

Born and raised in the neighborhood, Vagner Love and Leonardo Moura have already warned their teammates to hope for cloudy weather until the weekend.

"Boy, I already warned them: they have to pray it's not hot. If it is, they're screwed," Love joked.

Midfielder Ramon, who was in the cold of Russia, where he played for CSKA Moscow, is competing in the Rio de Janeiro State Championship for the first time, and guarantees that the strong sun of Bangu does not intimidate him.

"This is my first time playing in the Campeonato Carioca, and I'm very committed to helping Flamengo win this title. Vagner Love and Leonardo Moura joked that it's very hot there, that the pitch isn't the best, but we'll have to overcome that to leave the field with the victory," he said.

Leonardo Moura is also confident that his teammates will perform well.

"Flamengo's name will be on the line in Bangu, and we'll be well represented by the players who will take the field. Our squad is motivated. It's a capable group, and we'll be looking to win the Carioca and Libertadores titles," the fullback added.
