A busy week will make Fla have more intimacy with Luxa

Players want to quickly assimilate the coach's methodology to win more games in the Brasileirão

Flamengo returned to training on Tuesday morning (12.10), at the club's training center, Ninho do Urubu. With full-time training scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, the players celebrate the opportunity to better assimilate Vanderlei Luxemburgo's style, one of the factors that can boost the team in the rest of the Brasileirão.

Experienced, Kleberson highly praised his first encounter with his new 'professor.' He hopes that by the end of the season, the team will have improved significantly, learning the coach's way of working so that they can finally bring even more joy to the fans in 2011.

"My first contact with Luxemburgo was excellent. He's a successful coach, very experienced, and he already knew, even from the outside, the strength of our squad. He made a point of showing us that he's here to help, and we have to use his philosophy to continually improve. Luxemburgo arrived exploring the best in each player, and I believe this will lead us to the South American this year. We'll do better in 2011. He instills more confidence in the players," explained Kleberson.

And the end of the "Brazilian Championship marathon," where all teams played in the middle and on the weekend, promises to be more beneficial for Flamengo than for the other teams. After all, Luxemburgo arrived two rounds ago and didn't have enough time to show his full potential in charge of the team. With more days to train, the squad expects things to improve.

"We're in a good place to train, get to know people better, especially the coach. The marathon was great. The players were really feeling the heat. Now that it's over, we can focus more, and Luxemburgo will be able to get the most out of each one. When we take the field, it will be at full strength," said Kleberson, highlighting what he found best in his brief contact with the coach at Flamengo.

"With the change in leadership, the trend is to improve. Even more so with the arrival of a professional like him. Things started to happen, the plays started to come, and the goals too. He knows how to bring out the potential in everyone and does so by instilling trust. That's what we needed to improve every day," concluded Kleberson.
