Flamengo now knows its opponent in the 2018 State Championship semifinals. After the Rio Cup is decided, the "Mais Querido" will face Botafogo for a spot in the Carioca final. The match will be played this Wednesday at the Maracanã Stadium, starting at 21:45 p.m. Learn more about the game below.

Having qualified for the semifinals after winning the Taça Guanabara, Flamengo waited for its rival to emerge from the Fluminense vs. Botafogo match in the Taça Rio final. Since Fluminense won, the black and white team was relegated to the red-and-black bracket. On the other side, the Tricolor will face Vasco. The semifinals are single-leg matches, and the two-leg finals are scheduled for April 01st and 08th.

Guanabara Cup champion Flamengo will play for a draw against Botafogo on Wednesday. Neither team will have a pre-match advantage in the state final.
