Flamengo's five futsal teams play the second leg of the State Championship quarterfinals this weekend. With victories in the U-9 category against Tio Sam and in the U-11 category against Mangueira, the Gávea boys are looking to stay focused and repeat their strong performances.

 "The team is prepared and focused to get a win on Sunday. We know it won't be an easy game and the result of the previous game doesn't reflect reality. Mangueira has a good team and we must respect it," said Eduardo Junior, the under-11 coach.

In a delicate situation, the under-13, under-15, and under-17 teams, after suffering defeats in the first match of the quarterfinals, need to turn things around this weekend. And even with adverse results, the coordinator of the categories believes they will qualify.

"I trust the coaching staff and especially the quality of our athletes. The defeats we suffered were isolated incidents and can be easily reversed," said Luiz Antônio.
