Fifth-placed in the 2016 Brasileirão with 10 points, Flamengo faces two important challenges in the remainder of the championship. After hosting Vitória and Palmeiras, the Mais Querido will face Figueirense and Cruzeiro at their opponents' home grounds.

The first match will be against the Santa Catarina team. Next Sunday (12), Figueirense and Flamengo face off at Orlando Scarpelli. Initially scheduled for 11 am, the game was changed by the CBF and the ball will roll at the traditional 16 pm time. The opponent is in 15th place in the table with six points (one win, three draws and two losses).

Three days later, the red-and-black team will face Cruzeiro. The game will take place at Mineirão, on Wednesday (15) at 21:45 pm. The Minas Gerais team has had an inconsistent start to the competition, having won only five points. Before Flamengo, they will face arch-rival Atlético on Sunday at Independência.

Flamengo's squad returns tomorrow at 15:30 p.m. for a week of training at the George Helal Training Center. Zé Ricardo's men have three wins, one draw, and two losses.
