The date made famous by horror films and superstitions that it's a day when many bad things can happen seems to have no effect on the Flamengo squad. On Friday the 13th, the mood among the Flamengo squad on the eve of the crucial match against Ceará at the Maracanã stadium couldn't be better.

Relaxed, the players participated in a lively recreational training session and joked around a lot, further demonstrating that the group is more than united to win the Brazilian Championship again. With a renewed contract, David fulfilled his promise in an interview with the official website last Thursday and gave his opponents no rest during the activity.

"No, Val, don't miss a goal! Are you kidding?" he joked after the number 9 missed a goal opportunity. "You're so bad, you don't even know how to shoot," he said to defender Welinton when the number 23 missed a cross. But it was David's own mistake that led to the first goal of the training session, a header from Léo Medeiros, who made no mistake: "Good one, David, it went over your back." In the end, the team without the vest won 4-1.

Before the start of the small-field practice match, coach Rogério Lourenço took the opportunity to conduct set-piece training with some players, in a closed session for the media. Meanwhile, the goalkeepers worked with coach Cantareli, and the rest of the squad participated in a separate training session.
