Coach considers fielding three defenders, but may keep the team that faced Santos

Coach Silas's training for São Paulo is a question: whether to field a team with three defenders or stick with the same lineup that started the match against Santos and played a great first half last Sunday (September 05.09th). The red-and-black manager hasn't had much time to train the team, and the tendency is that, with Toró and Wilians fit enough to play, the lineup will likely be the same as it was at the weekend. However, the coach hasn't made his decision yet.
"The game will be balanced. We had a great first half against Santos. The team slipped a bit, got careless, and even risked losing, but we're improving. The team has been improving with each match, and that's important. Regarding the lineup, I don't want to lose a midfielder, but I haven't decided yet. I'll only decide in São Paulo," he explained.
Sials is pleased with what the red-black players have been showing and believes that all that's missing, besides getting the ball in, is a little more physical conditioning.
"The team is coming along, creating a lot of chances, we're testing attacking variations. I think we just need better physical conditioning to reach the level I believe is ideal," said the coach, who explained that, in championships played on a points-based basis, each game is a decisive one.
"Every game is a final, especially in points-based championships. Reaching the top four is our goal. Then, who knows, we might even go for the title," he added.
