Prepared for anything, Flamengo coach Silas gave a press conference after training on Monday (27.09) and expressed confidence in a good result in the match against Goiás (28.09), on Tuesday, in Goiania. The coach recognizes that the team did not play well last weekend, but promises a lot of effort to turn things around in the next round.

"The coach has to be prepared for anything and can't lose his conviction. I told them in the meeting that we're lacking in tactics. We're trying not to invent anything and keep it simple. We didn't do well in the first half against Palmeiras and we want to fix it. Regarding the pressure, that's how it is. But everything is already in my head. We're going and we've already planned everything that will happen there," he said.

The Flamengo manager also emphasized that the team shouldn't despair over a negative result. According to him, the loss to Palmeiras should serve as a lesson for the future.

"We are professionals in this field and we cannot get into this relegation panic. I know how difficult it is, and this experience must serve to reverse this situation. Just as we are struggling here, so are the other teams," said the coach, who praised the team under his command.

"The team is very good, capable, and there are problems in football that are unrelated to that. Problems that happen and need to be resolved. This year has been difficult for Flamengo because of everything that happened, and there's no reason we can't close ourselves off and bounce back. We'll go into this game as if it were our last, and then we'll think about Botafogo," he added.

The starting lineup for the match should be formed with: Marcelo Lomba; Léo Moura, David, Jean (Ronaldo Angelim) and Juan; Maldonado, Willians, Kleberson and Renato; Diogo and Deivid.
