After traveling to Presidente Prudente on the evening of last Monday (13.09), Flamengo trained this Tuesday (14.09) at Clube São Fernando, in the city of São Paulo. Coach Silas did not reveal the team's lineup, but confirmed the entry of Rodrigo Alvim in place of Juan, who is missing from the team due to an ankle injury.
The Flamengo coach did a quick tactical drill and then led a recreational training session, the famous "rachão" (soccer kick), which was special for Alvim. Excited about the prospect of returning to the team, he, like his teammates, wants to lead Flamengo to the long-awaited triumph.
"It's been a while since I started a game, but with determination, I can overcome that. We need to talk because we lack chemistry, but desire is greater than anything. I've been working hard, with great determination, and I'm physically fine. What will count is the fight on the field. I can't make excuses and I have to go in with the same responsibility as everyone else," said Rodrigo Alvim.
Flamengo will face Grêmio Prudente this Wednesday (15.09), at 22 pm, at Prudentão. The Rubro-negro has 23 points and occupies 16th place in the Brasileirão.
