The 4-1 victory over Figueirense, which lifted Flamengo out of the relegation zone in the Brazilian Championship, brought relief to the club, but by no means any kind of complacency. Coach Joel Santana assures that the team still sees a long way off in the standings.

"When we have four or five points above 17th place, that's fine, we can consider ourselves in a calmer moment, but for now the light that is on here in Gávea is still red. We cannot get complacent in any way."

Avoiding the team from falling back into the relegation zone requires defeating Internacional this Saturday in Porto Alegre. A tough mission, according to the coach.

"Internacional is a great club, one of the best I've ever worked for. And they have Abel as their coach, who is one of the five-star coaches in Brazilian football, as well as a friend. We'll need to play with a lot of determination to get a good result."
