On the morning of this Wednesday (09), the red-black squad returned to CT George Helal, in Vargem Grande, to begin preparations for the next challenge in the Brazilian Championship. In the day's activity, the group worked on the technical part, with training focused on controlling possession of the ball in situations of pressure from the opposing defense, and tactical, with work on a reduced field aiming at the next commitment of Mais Querido, against América-MG.

With the group divided into two, the first part of the training focused on controlling possession. The activity focused on the team's offensive and defensive aspects, such as passing, repositioning, intercepting, and quick movement to create options for teammates.

During tactical training, Zé Ricardo began to outline the team that will take the field against the Minas Gerais team. Changes will be made to the team due to the defensive absences, resulting from the third card received in the match against Botafogo, which took place last Saturday (05). Some analysis of the upcoming opponent's playing style was also made by the coach during the training session.

The match against América-MG, which will mark the 35th round of the Brasileirão, will be held next Wednesday (16), at Independência. The match will start at 21:45 pm.
