Flamengo faces Cruzeiro this Wednesday (12/9), at Maracanã. For striker Souza, the game will be very disputed and determination on the field will be very important to achieve a positive result.

"The game will be very difficult. I believe their team will play more on the counterattack, as they know how strong our squad is when they play at Maracanã. We have to have a lot of willpower on the field and belief to get this victory."

Flamengo's number 9 believes that the team that has been training as a starter in training and showing a good performance, will be maintained in the game against Cruzeiro.

- "In midfield, Toró and Cristian get a little more forward. Our team also has two full-backs who provide great support, and I'm sure the ball will reach the attack."

The only question regarding the starting lineup is whether to select Rômulo or Obina. If coach Joel Santana chooses the defensive midfielder, Souza will play alongside Renato Augusto up front. However, the striker prefers not to choose his partner.

"They're two great players. Renato Augusto is very strong and technical and plays more on the wings. I've played with Obina many times and know how he behaves on the field. But this isn't the time to choose a partner. We all have to give our all against Cruzeiro."
