Striker Souza was suspended for five matches in a trial on Monday night, held at the Superior Court of Sports Justice, in Rio de Janeiro.
The player, who was tried for his expulsion in the game against Grêmio, on July 22, in the 13th round of the Brazilian Championship, was suspended for three games for receiving a red card (article 254) and another two for article 258 (aggression off the field).
