Striker Souza has been performing well in Flamengo's recent Brazilian Championship matches. With beautiful passes and excellent movement, the number nine has contributed to Flamengo's goals in the tournament. But for the match against Atlético-MG, the Flamengo center forward is dreaming of goals.

- "I haven't been scoring goals, but I'm sure I'm helping the team with my movement, my pivot work, and my passing. I'm sure that in this game against Atlético-MG, that goal will come. I really want to score," concluded the confident Souza.

When asked about the help his attacking partner, Maxi, could provide to score a goal, striker Souza was full of praise for the Argentine.

"I've been talking a lot with Maxi. He's a very skillful and fast player. He'll help me a lot in tomorrow's match to score goals."

For the striker, Atlético-MG should play defensively, going on the counterattack in the next game.

- "Every team that comes to face Flamengo at Maracanã comes, first and foremost, to defend itself. It will be a life-or-death game, as it is a six-point clash due to the situation in which the teams find themselves."
