Another victory, and one that included a memorable goal. Flamengo ended its participation in Group B of the Generations Adidas Cup with three wins in three games, securing qualification for the semifinal stage. In Tuesday's match, the Mais Querido defeated Atlanta United 3-1 and will now face the winner of Group A. River Plate needs a draw to qualify.

The victory was forged in the first half. Three minutes in, João Gabriel took a free kick from the left, heading toward the far post. Rodrigo Muniz, unmarked, headed it firmly, leaving the goalkeeper no chance, opening the scoring. Flamengo dominated the field. They passed the ball around, looked for space, and even tried different plays. And it was one of these that resulted in a stunning goal, a strong contender for goal of the competition. 

On a quick counterattack, the ball fell to Rodrigo Muniz's feet, just before the halfway line. From there, he took a chance and chipped the ball over the opposing goalkeeper, to the applause of everyone present. A legendary achievement. 

In the second half, Flamengo extended their lead after a counterattack led by Rhyan Paradela. The player burst into the box unmarked and shot low. The American goalkeeper saved, but the ball fell to Bruno Gabriel, who displaced the defender and extended the lead. Atlanta then scored their consolation goal, a penalty, in the last minute. Flamengo qualified.
