Out of the match against Goiás, striker Diego Tardelli is one of coach Caio Júnior's options to form the Flamengo attack for Sunday's match against Atlético-PR at Arena da Baixada. The player says he's highly motivated to play Flamengo's final match of the 2008 season.

"It's the last game of the year, and I'm very motivated. I'm really looking forward to getting on the field and playing well. I hope this enthusiasm of mine spreads to the whole group, because it's going to be a decisive moment for us."

Diego Tardelli assured that the entire Flamengo squad is very confident of securing one of the Libertadores spots, even with the red-black team depending on the results of the Palmeiras and Cruzeiro matches.

"We have to believe, because there's still hope. The draw with Goiás brought some doubt, but we know we have what it takes. Flamengo has a squad that can go to Curitiba and beat Atlético. Everyone knows it's tough to play there, due to the pressure the fans exert, but we have to be prepared. As they say, the last impression is the one that lasts. So, we'll fight hard to secure that spot and end the year with a bang."
