Thiago Neves will feel at home at Flamengo
Captain Léo Moura says that past rivalries are forgotten and that the player will be very well received.

The initial contacts between Thiago Neves and Flamengo weren't the friendliest. He played for Fluminense and always performed well against them. But all that is in the past now. Leonardo Moura, captain of the Flamengo team, assures us that he's certain the new signing will be very well received.
Thiago's talent is unanimously recognized within the group, and Leo believes that his good football skills will give him everything he needs to win over the fans and establish himself as a great player for Flamengo.
"The group is willing to help. It's a little difficult, especially because of the identification he had with Fluminense. He'll only achieve that by showing the same identification. We have an excellent group, we're going to make him identify with Flamengo. I want to leave him with this message as captain. He will become a great idol at Flamengo, in addition to being a great player," said Leo, who hopes Thiago will shine at Flamengo as he did at Fluminense.
"In 2011, Thiago Neves will be with Flamengo. We hope he has the same success he had at Fluminense," he noted.
Renato, one of Thiago and Ronaldinho's potential midfield partners, also welcomes the player and believes the team will only benefit from these signings.
"I'm very happy for Flamengo. Thiago and Ronaldinho are great players, they're coming to contribute and I'm sure they'll do very well here. The group welcomes them with open arms," he added.
Thiago and Ronaldinho arrived in the city of Londrina this Thursday (January 13.01th) and have already trained with the rest of the group that is working hard in the pre-season.
