Thiago Neves promises to take responsibility
Player guarantees he will give his all in Sunday's match against Cruzeiro

In the press conference held last Friday (04.11), coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo made it very clear that the responsibility of 'carrying' Flamengo in the search for the title or a place in the Libertadores cannot be Thomás' but rather his and the more experienced players in the squad. Midfielder Thiago Neves is one of the athletes mentioned by Luxa and guarantees that he is prepared to do his part on the field in the match against Cruzeiro, this Sunday (06.11).
"It's time to take responsibility, we have to be champions, we have to win. Ronaldo is used to it, I know mine and the other players do too. I'll take responsibility," promised the midfielder.
2011 isn't over yet, but Thiago Neves already considers that his work at Flamengo was very productive this season.
"You don't even notice, you play midweek, weekend. It was a good year for us, a victory, the Carioca undefeated, we tried to win the Copa do Brasil, the South American, we still have the Brasileirão. It's been a good year for Flamengo," he commented.
"It's time to take responsibility, we have to be champions, we have to win. Ronaldo is used to it, I know mine and the other players do too. I'll take responsibility," promised the midfielder.
