The routine of presentations at Flamengo continues at full speed. After Ronaldinho donned the sacred jersey this Wednesday (January 12.01th), it will be Thiago Neves' turn, at 11 am this Thursday (January 13.01th), also at Gávea.
After being named the best player in the Saudi Arabian league while playing for Al-Hilal last season, the midfielder will return to Brazil. Thiago Neves will sign a one-year contract and has already expressed his excitement to win over the passionate Flamengo fans.
"I would like to say that you can trust me. Me and the whole team will work very hard to bring joy to this immense fanbase. I will do everything to have this support. And I know that the Flamengo fans will embrace me," said the player, who had been taking care of his physical fitness at a gym in Rio de Janeiro.
"I last played at the end of December. This time without doing anything is a bit disruptive. I hope everything goes well and that the team can do well. That's the most important thing. I want to get back to training soon to be in shape to play," he concluded.
