Team confirmed to face Paraná
Striker Maxi, who served a suspension in the last round, returns to form an attacking duo with Souza.
By Flamengo Archive - inDespite rain forecast for tomorrow's match against Paraná at 16 p.m. at Durival de Brito Stadium, Flamengo held a recreational training session under strong sunshine this morning in the capital of Paraná. Without Jaílton, who is sidelined with pain in his right foot, coach Joel Santana confirmed the lineup with only one change compared to the match against Fluminense. Striker Maxi, who served a suspension in the last round, returns to partner Souza in attack. The midfield will consist of Rômulo, Cristian, Ibson, and Toró. "Paraná's situation isn't good, but we don't have to worry about our opponent's problems. We also need to win to have some peace of mind in the standings, and we're well prepared for that," said coach Joel Santana. The players will have Sunday off. They are scheduled to return to training on Monday at 9 a.m. at the Vargem Grande Training Center.
