After his good performance against Atlético-GO, Diego Maurício earned a starting spot in the Flamengo attack for Sunday's (October 10.10th) match against Avaí in Santa Catarina. The number 49 will start in place of Diogo, who suffered an ankle sprain. Happy for the opportunity, he anticipates a difficult game against the team from Florianópolis.

"Avaí's team is very strong, so we have to give our all to win three points. We need to put pressure on them.
