Flamengo's squad returned to training this Tuesday morning in Gávea. Caio Júnior organized a collective training session to prepare the red-and-black team for Thursday's decisive match against leaders Grêmio at Maracanã.

During the training session, the coach tested a new formation, with Maxi and Marcelinho Paraíba up front, and Airton and Kleberson in midfield. The starters performed well, defeating the reserves 6-0, with goals from Maxi (2), Juan, Kleberson, Marcelinho Paraíba, and Thiago Sales (own goal).

The starting lineup trained with: Bruno, Léo Moura, Fábio Luciano, Ronaldo Angelim, and Juan; Jailton, Airton, Ibson, and Kleberson; Maxi and Marcelinho Paraíba. The reserves took to the field with: Diego, Leonardo, Thiago Sales, and Fabrício; Luizinho, Toró, Jônatas, Erick Flores, and Eltinho; Éder and Obina.

Forward Vandinho, who is recovering from a right thigh injury, performed differently than the rest of the squad and will not face Grêmio. Argentine Sambueza is in Buenos Aires resolving paperwork issues and will also not face the team from Rio Grande do Sul this Thursday.
