Flamengo held another training session this Thursday afternoon (11/29), at the Gávea field. Before the training session, coach Joel Santana was honored by a group of fans, who presented him with a plaque thanking him for the team's campaign in the Brazilian Championship.
On the field, Joel repeated the same lineup from yesterday's training session, with Léo Medeiros, Maxi and Obina in the starting lineup. Souza, with muscle pain, did not participate in training and is doubtful for Sunday's (December 2nd) match against Náutico in Recife.
The starting lineup performed excellently in the match, winning 7-0. Ronaldo Angelim and Fábio Luciano opened the scoring with headers. Toró, one of the team's standout performers, extended the lead with two beautiful goals.
Midway through the session, coach Joel Santana repeated the change from the last training session, taking off Maxi and bringing on Roger. The midfielder came into the game well and scored the fifth goal of the session.
In the end, Léo Medeiros and Cristian completed the rout for the starting team.
