After a strenuous morning workout, Flamengo's squad returned to training Tuesday afternoon in Gávea. Preparing the Flamengo team for their Saturday match against Atlético-MG, Caio Júnior organized the first tactical training session of the week.

The coach kept the core of the team that faced Náutico. With Fábio Luciano suspended and Juan serving with the Brazilian national team, Luizinho and Dininho were given a chance in the starting lineup. Another surprise was Sambueza. The Argentine trained in place of Ibson, who was released from training to deal with personal issues.

In the training session, on a reduced field, the starters shone and won 8-1, with goals from Vandinho (2), Marcelinho Paraíba (2), Kleberson, Sambueza, Léo Moura and Toró. Maxi scored for the reserves. At the end of the training session, Caio Júnior took off Luizinho and gave a chance to young Erick Flores. With the change, Sambueza was moved to the left wing.

The starters trained with: Bruno; Léo Moura, Dininho, Ronaldo Angelim and Luizinho (Erick Flores); Jailton, Toró, Kleberson and Sambueza; Marcelinho Paraíba and Vandinho.
