The Flamengo delegation landed in Rio de Janeiro late morning this Thursday (02.09) and has already started working towards Sunday's (05.09) match against Santos, the Rubro-Negro's last game at the Maracanã before the stadium closes for renovations in preparation for the 2014 World Cup.

The starting players from the match against Cruzeiro, with the exception of Willians and Val Baiano, did regenerative work in the pool, under the supervision of physical trainer Diogo Linhares. The players selected for the match arrived at Gávea around 13 PM and immediately went to work.

Meanwhile, other members of the group did physical activities in the gym and are preparing to face Sendas in a training match that will begin at 15 pm.
