Itu (SP) – The reserves beat Desportivo Brasil's B team 3-1 in a kind of preliminary of Flamengo's first training match in the preseason that is being held at the Spa Sports Resort, in Itu, this Sunday (04.07). But the starters were unable to repeat their good performance and ended up only drawing 1-1 with the main team of Desportivo. The red-blacks opened the scoring, with a beautiful header from Leonardo Moura, after a cross from Juan, but ended up suffering the equalizer at the end of the activity.

Rogério Lourenço fielded Marcelo Lomba, Leonardo Moura, Welinton, Ronaldo Angelim, and Juan; Antônio, Willians, Camacho, and Petkovic; Vinícius Pacheco and Paulo Sérgio. Lenon and Diego Maurício came on in the second half in place of Willians and Paulo Sérgio. Maldonado and Michael, still recovering from injuries, did not participate in the training match and continued with muscle strengthening exercises. David and Corrêa also did not train.
