Flamengo's squad returned to training this Friday afternoon at the Ninho do Urubu Training Center in Vargem Grande. During a collective training session, coach Andrade finalized the team's details for Sunday's match against Corinthians at the Maracanã stadium.

Emerson, recovered from thigh pain, trained normally and is confirmed for the match. Andrade selected Petkovic as the team's playmaker, alongside Airton, Willians, and Kleberson in midfield. In defense, Welinton started the match as a starter but was soon replaced by David, who could make his debut for the red-and-black team on Sunday. The starters won the match 4-1, with three goals from Emerson and one from Adriano. Denis Marques scored for the reserves.

The starters took to the field with: Bruno; Léo Moura, Welinton (David), Ronaldo Angelim and Everton; Airton, Willians, Kleberson and Petkovic; Emerson and Adriano. The reserves played with: Marcelo Lomba; Everton Silva, David (Welinton), Rômulo and Fabrício; Lenon, Camacho, Fierro and Zé Roberto; Maxi and Denis Marques.

After training, Andrade said that Petkovic deserves this chance as a starter for the team.
