In the training session, the coach maintained the core of the rout over Figueirense. Diego Tardelli, who was serving a suspension, trained in Maxi's place, and Cristian was given a chance at the end of the session in place of Jônatas.

The reserve lineup consisted of Diego, Rodrigo Arroz, Leonardo, and Dininho; Luizinho, Jailton, Cristian (Jônatas), Kleberson, and Egidio; Maxi and Obina. The starting lineup won 2-0, with goals from Marcinho and Tardelli.
