By Flamengo Archive - inFlamengo's squad returned to training on Thursday afternoon at the Ninho do Urubu Training Center in Vargem Grande. To prepare for Sunday's match against Ipatinga at the Maracanã Stadium, Caio Júnior organized a training session with the youth team.
In the activity, Caio Júnior fielded the same team that faced São Paulo with: Bruno; Léo Moura, Fábio Luciano, Ronaldo Angelim and Juan; Jailton, Kleberson, Ibson and Everton; Marcelinho Paraíba and Josiel. The juniors, commanded by Adílio, took the field with: Diego; Daivdson, Lucas, Wellington and Léo; Rafael Mazzei, Wellington Peca, Vinicius Colombiano and Renan; Vander and Bruno Paulo.
In the first half of the training session, the starters opened the scoring with Everton, following a beautiful pass from Josiel. At the end of the first half, Josiel scored another goal for the professionals. For the second half, Caio Júnior changed his lineup, taking off Jailton and starting Vandinho alongside Josiel. With the change, Marcelinho Paraíba was moved to midfield, with Everton, Ibson, and Kleberson completing the midfield. With this formation, the starters scored another goal, again through Josiel.
After training, Josiel praised the performance of the red-black team.
"We had a good amount of play in training. We're looking for the best connection, which only comes with a series of games and training sessions. We created good scoring chances and managed to score," said the number 9.
