Flamengo will face Corinthians in the round of 16 of the Copa Santander Libertadores. This is confirmed and the teams will take the field next Wednesday (April 28th) at 9:50 PM at the Maracanã. However, before Flamengo's qualification was defined, the club's official website conducted a poll to find out which opponent was preferred for the start of the knockout stage.
After winning the Brazilian title last year, Flamengo once again demonstrated its greatness, and this continues to resonate with its fans. For the majority of them (44%), due to its greatness, Flamengo doesn't need to choose its opponent in the round of 16.
The second most voted option was Corinthians, Flamengo's real rival, with 35%. São Paulo and Universidad de Chile were almost tied, but the São Paulo team ended up as the third choice of internet users, with 11%. The Chilean team had 10% of the votes.
