The organized fan group Ninho do Urubu, in Maranhão, already has around 200 members who watch Flamengo games.

See the message from Marcos Souza, one of the directors of Torcida:

"We have a fan club that we call NINHO DO URUBU, where we meet in a bar to watch Flamengo games. We started meeting in March 2007. Before, we were only 10 people, but today we have over 200, and we have several projects to make this fan club the largest in Maranhão. We started registering our members. Each registered member will receive a personalized fan club shirt and a membership card. We purchased musical instruments to encourage the Ninho fans and Flamengo with chants and shouts from organized fan clubs in Rio. We will soon be launching a website, among other projects. By the end of the year, we will have our own headquarters, where we will carry out various activities and also where we will watch the games. We meet for every Flamengo game, regardless of the date, time, or weather conditions."
