Tuesday's training session (06) took place under intense heat at CT George Helal, in Vargem Grande. Coach Zé Ricardo led specific work with the red-black squad, improving fundamentals and trying to better adapt to the synthetic turf at Arena da Baixada, where the Mais Querido's last challenge in the Brasileirão will take place. For this, Field 3 was irrigated in order to give more speed and dynamism.

After physical and ball warm-ups, the group was divided into three workstations. The first involved collective training on a reduced-size field, with two teams of five players each. The next station featured exercises focused on maintaining possession under pressure, with four players controlling possession while two sought to intercept the ball, taking possession and working with the other two teammates who waited for the ball to be regained on the opposite side of the designated area. The third station featured attack-defense pairings, aiming to score goals in the two small goals that delimited the work area.

This Wednesday (07), Flamengo will return to training in the morning. Mais Querido continues preparations to face Atlético-PR in Curitiba. The match will be played next Sunday (11), with the ball rolling from 17 pm.
