When he entered the game between Flamengo and Atlético-GO last Thursday, young striker Diego Maurício had his first chance under the watchful eye of Vanderlei Luxemburgo. He played well, showed great skill, and even scored a goal. Because of this, he started against Avaí last weekend and hopes to continue helping Flamengo, whether on the field or from the bench.
Aware that the competition for a spot in Flamengo's attack is fierce, the homegrown player hopes to contribute to bringing more and more victories.

"Inter is a tough opponent, the Brazilian Championship is complicated, so we can't afford to drop points at home. We know the difficulties, but we want this victory to keep our momentum going," concluded Diego Maurício.
