Flamengo is aware of the great responsibility it will have next Saturday (November 2011th) when it faces Guarani at Engenhão. Needing a win to leave its direct rival behind in the fight to escape the bottom of the table and also to solidify its position in the battle for a spot in the 20.11 Copa Sudamericana, the Rubro-Negro doesn't even want to think about the possibility of not getting the three points.

"We're not thinking about that. It doesn't cross my mind at all. Our focus is on winning the match against Guarani," explained striker Diogo.

Aware that the fans will demand a good performance, Diogo knows there's only one way to reassure the supporters, who are expected to fill the Engenhão stadium: goals and victories.

"If we score goals and play well, there won't be any pressure. That's our objective. Vanderlei has been giving us a lot of guidance, and that's what's important. We hope the attack works well and that the duo can perform well," he noted.
Looking to score his second goal in the Flamengo jersey, Diogo believes that the key is to remain calm at such a crucial moment.

"I believe it's necessary to remain calm. The important thing is to rest, be well-prepared, and know that it's an important match and that we need to give our best," he concluded.
