The coach doesn't even want to think about playing for a draw.

Vanderlei Luxemburgo says that one point may not be enough for Flamengo in the Brazilian Championship.

Many experts say that one point is enough for Flamengo to succeed, remain in Serie A and stay alive in the fight for a spot in the 2011 Copa Sudamericana. However, coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo disagrees and doesn't even want to consider playing for a draw against Cruzeiro on Sunday (November 28.11th) in Volta Redonda.

The coach believes that the only result that matters to the Flamengo team, so as not to depend on other matches, is a victory. The same is true for Cruzeiro. Therefore, he sees the match as a crucial game for both sides.

"A draw doesn't eliminate the chances (of relegation), we have two games left, if both games end in a draw it's better, but I always play for the win. In a decisive match like this, both teams need to win. Cruzeiro needs to win and so do we," he said.

Luxa also believes that the rounds should have been happening all at the same time for some time now, and takes the opportunity to give his opinion on the relegation formula for teams in the Brazilian Championship. According to him, four clubs being relegated is an exaggeration.

"It's not a matter of preference to play at Engenhão. I think they should schedule the last four games at the same time. In a championship with 12 big teams, four being relegated is a very high percentage; if three were relegated, it might be better for the championship. We have to play there in Volta Redonda, seek victory, and the fans will support us," he concluded.
