Little by little, Vanderlei Luxemburgo is putting his stamp on the Flamengo team and fielding those he believes can perform at their best for the club. "When I decided to put Angelim in against Corinthians, it was because of Ronaldo, because of his experience (he's 34 years old). They complement each other. Welinton will learn a lot from Angelim," he said.
Satisfied with the team's performance against Ceará, Luxa is not expected to make many changes to the team for Sunday's game (November 07.11th) against Atlético Paranaense in Volta Redonda.
"I really liked what the team did against Ceará, they were in control. They understood the opponent's approach well. Given the situation we're in, the result wasn't what we wanted. But the work is very good, the run of games is very good," he concluded.
