A victory next Sunday (November 07.11th), against Atlético-PR, in Volta Redonda, could definitively ward off the danger of relegation for Flamengo. That's what coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo promises to work towards in the two days of training he will have ahead of the match.

For the Flamengo coach, the team is in a "different championship" within the Brazilian Championship. Emphasizing the objective of not only remaining in the first division, but also seeking a spot in the 2011 Copa Sudamericana, Luxa says that every game now is a final.

"Flamengo's approach is different. Every game is a final. These are decisive matches to keep Flamengo in the first division and to qualify for the Copa Sudamericana. There's no project for next year. We're moving forward. The main goal is to stay in Série A," he said.

One of the Flamengo coach's strengths is the squad he has at his disposal. Using the young Marquinhos, who has been performing very well whenever given the chance, as an example, he says it's important to be able to count on everyone in the group.

"In the squad, you have to use him. I've liked his performances. If I think tomorrow that he should be a starter, I'll put him in. I understand the demands, but I have the discernment to make the lineup. The important thing is for everyone to be available and help," he concluded.

Luxemburgo will have two activities to work on his thoughts for Sunday's game. Flamengo will train again on Friday (November 05.11th) and Saturday (November 06.11th) at Ninho do Urubu, before traveling to Volta Redonda.
