Flamengo's squad returned this Friday afternoon in Gávea and held a very competitive collective training session, which ended with a 4-3 victory for the reserves.

At the start of the training session, coach Joel Santana fielded the starting lineup consisting of Bruno, Léo Moura, Fábio Luciano, Ronaldo Angelim, and Juan; Cristian, Kléberson, Ibson, and Toró; Marcinho and Souza. The reserve team consisted of Marcelo Lomba, Luizinho, Leonardo, Rodrigo Arroz, and Egidio; Gávilan, Jaílton, Vinícius Pacheco; Maxi, Diego Tardelli, and Obina. In this part of the training session, the starting lineup won 2-1, with goals from Egidio (own goal) and Léo Moura, and Diego Tardelli pulling one back for the reserves.

Midway through training, Joel made his first change to the team, taking off Kléberson and bringing in Diego Tardelli. The change allowed the starting lineup to attack more easily, but the defense was left more vulnerable. Jaílton equalized for the reserves, taking advantage of Bruno's rebound.

The manager made another change to the lineup, replacing Cristian with Jaílton. The starting lineup scored another goal, with Diego Tardelli, but the reserves turned the game around with goals from Egídio and Kléberson.

At the press conference after training, Joel explained that he is doing some tests with the team.

"We're doing some team testing for the upcoming matches. I put Tardelli in for Kléberson, and the team improved offensively, but worsened defensively. That's why I tested Jaílton in Cristian's place to see how the team would perform. The most important thing is that we have a few more days of training ahead, and we'll find the best formation for the upcoming challenges."
