The week of preparation for the match against Juventude, on Sunday (23/9), in Caxias do Sul, has been quite demanding. After physical training yesterday on the beach and in the club's pool, coach Joel Santana led a training session to position the team for the field.

At the start of the session, Joel led an attack-versus-defense drill, fielding the starting lineup with Bruno, Léo Moura, Fábio Luciano, and Juan; Rômulo, Jaílton, Cristian, and Toró. Joel stopped the session several times, with only half the field to adjust the team's positioning when under attack.

The players who did not participate in tactical training did finishing and crossing training under the supervision of assistant coach Andrade.

In the second half, Joel set up the team with the following players: Rômulo, Jailton, Cristian, and Toró; Maxi and Souza, and practiced the players' positioning when Flamengo goes on the attack. The team moved very well and managed to score goals.

The only change Joel made to the starting lineup was bringing in Argentinian Hugo Colace as a defensive midfielder, replacing Rômulo.
