After a regenerative training session held on Thursday (17), the red-black squad returned to CT George Helal this Friday (18) to continue preparing for the match against Coritiba. During the activity, coach Zé Ricardo initially led the work of building plays on the edges of the field, ending with shots. Then, it was time for collective training on a reduced field.
During the closing session, the coach provided extensive guidance on playmaking. Under pressure from opposing attackers, the team sought to improve the passing between defensive players, even requiring the goalkeepers to play with their feet. The midfielders sought to assist the defenders in creating options to escape tight situations.
The athletes who returned this week from their national teams, in addition to the players who played in the match against América-MG last Wednesday (16), carried out separate work. The activity was focused on the physical recovery of these athletes, in order to be in ideal shape for the next challenge in this final stretch of the Brasileirão.
This Saturday (19), the last training session will take place at the CT before the match against the team from Paraná, which will mark the 36th round of the Brazilian Championship. The match will be played at Maracanã, with the ball rolling from 19:30 pm.
